No video this week

All,

I'm in the process of relocating to Arizona this week and will not be posting a Week 9 video. Week 8 in review would be a focus on Miami. Amazing defensive, hope some of you guys went with it, total of 28 points. Landry was my only upset. Murray, Foles and Hilton all got me over 20 each. I ranked 7th and 9th in both leagues resulting in some decent cash.

Good luck in week 9!

Week 7 results for Sunday?

How'd your Sunday go? My original picks brought me in 107.42 which has placed me a good lead into the 50/50 leagues I enrolled in for Week 7. Assuming there isn't too much of a blow out on Monday, I shouldn't drop my rankings too much.

Biggest disappointment? Fitzgerald... What the hell. I'm at a loss for words.

Biggest achievement? Russell Wilson for 37.12. Where Lynch couldn't go because of the Rams center focused defensive line, Wilson went on the outside. Awesome game!

Hope you guys did well!

*Last Minute* pick adjustments??

A subscriber sent me a request asking if I had any last minute opinions, tips or picks etc (since my first video was earlier in the week). I normally won't have time to do something like this, but figured what the heck. I'm still sticking with the first picks from my Week 7 video, but here is some more info guys, good luck tomorrow!

DeMarco set to break record

I mentioned in the week 7 video that DeMarco Murray was set to break a record this week, but I couldn't remember the name of the original holder. It is the legendary Jim Brown who was drafted in 57' by the Browns and in 58' ran for over 100 yards in six consecutive games. If Murray can get over 100 yards on Sunday (which I'm sure he will, suffix no injury) he will reach yet another milestone with seven consecutive 100 yard plus games. Next up will likely be Mr. Dickersons record!

Last minute change for RB

In the spirit of full disclosure I am making a LATE change to my Week 6 picks. Nothing is ever so certain in Fantasy Football. I'm switching out Miller for Branden Oliver (SD). Ryan Mathews and Donald Brown are both OUT for the game against the Raiders. Add on to this the fact that Miller suffered a foot injury and Moreno is a more solid choice with his recent recovery, I'm stepping away from the Miami game. I don't see either Moreno or Miller getting much ground time. Mean while, Oliver is a rookie stepping up to the plate against a lacking defense on the Raiders who ranks 22nd in Pts/Gm and 17th in Yds/Rush. I see Oliver jumping at the chance to prove his worth. He'll be facing off against an aged Raiders defense and having an opportunity to out shine his primary RB's who will be sitting out this game. I'm going for the pride and ignorance of youth in our rookie RB, Branden Oliver.

Week 6 Predictions and Review

Cowboys @ Seattle

Alright guys, so one of the key points in my Week 6 picks is DeMarco Murray and Jason Witten, I also think Dez Bryant is a solid choice, but he didn't make my roster. (Due to price and my desire to maintain my QB/WR match up). Some will no doubt think this is crazy because how great the Seahawks are and how horrible the Cowboys have been over the last couple of years. I actually doubt the Cowboys will pull out a win, but fantasy football isn't about who wins. It's about players getting stats and points. This will be a game where Garrett and Romo have no choice except to fallback on their most reliable players. This is a statement game for them, it means a lot more then a simple Week 6 skirmish to maintain their good record. It's about restoring a dominate legacy. Ironically, I recorded my Week 6 picks before I saw the Star Telegram. Either way, I'd recommend reading both the articles for some insight into helping you decide.

Week 5 in review

Total Score 105.4

Definitely not a great outcome, the biggest upset would be Christopher Ivory. The Chargers completely and utterly shut that game out. I'd call that the upset of the day. I did manage to win one of the two leagues I played in, so all funds from both league entries were made back. The bonus of the day was Graham, game went how I figured with high scoring and a solid (12) points from the guy. Was it the highest? No, but it was solid and well worth the price tag of $4,500.

Hope you guys did well, week 6 predictions will be up in a couple of days.

Best game of the day? I'd say Houston vs Dallas, nothing like a shootout in OT
